Are you passionate about visual communication and able to replace 1000 words with one cogent picture? Do you have the special ability to develop simple data-visualizations that are both beautiful to look at and easy to comprehend? Can you develop models that captures complex matters in a clear way and do you find it deeply satisfying to delight your colleagues with convincing slide shows? Then we might be a good match. IS IT A BIRD is an innovation bureau in growth with great focus on creating visually strong deliveries that precisely communicates our recommendations/concepts and inspires our customers in the development of their businesses. We need a graphic designer with a strong sense for aesthetics and with passion for conveying complex messages in a simple way. Someone who is skilled at presenting concepts in the most convincing and appealing way. You feel at home in the disciplines within user-centered design and know many of the methods and formats that typically are visualized (customer journeys, value propositions, user portraits etc.). You are familiar with several media, digital as analogue, e.g. video, Power Point and large physical boards. You are reliable and skilled at understanding a brief and working with it – also when the time is tight. You will be working closely together with our different teams composed of researchers and designers and you will be playing a pivotal role in creating the most convincing communication together with them. Beside this we have a large focus on our own identity and homepage and want both to continuously reflect our business’ development. The other part of the job is therefore ongoing development of our visual identity and making sure that across all teams and deliveries we stay true to our own guidelines. Areas of work Produce strong visual presentations with photos, video, models, icons etc. Develop visual models / illustrations / formats that structures and presents IIABs results and messages. Help our existing designers and researchers with developing visual exercises for interviews and focus groups. Contribute to the development and maintenance of IS IT A BIRDs visual identity and homepage including SoMe presence. Secure IS IT A BIRDs graphic identity, guidelines, and quality in our deliveries often in the form of Power Point presentations. Qualifications Graphic designer by education Experience from a similar job within innovation Experience with graphic work within visual identity Experience with web is an advantage Familiar with Power Point, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat Familiar with prepress and preparation of computer files for press Experienced in working with video Fluency in English speaking and writing.
