CTO for ambitious design media

We Own It ApS is looking for an experienced full stack developer to join our team as CTO. We are looking for a person that strives in new challenges, is eager to learn and motivated by bringing ambitious goals to life. You will be in charge of taking our product to the next level - defining new technical solutions, building a highly scalable community platform. Our platform, Thingswelove, is a social design community, backed by Innovation Fund Denmark. As a hybrid between social, editorial and commerce, we are creating a stronger ecosystem around design - supporting the industry, influencers and design consumer, while rewarding creatives in their role inspiring others. Our primary platform is iOS (Swift3) and we are launching our web application in the spring – using either Angular or React (and the possibilities ReactNative would give us ahead), depending on you. Our API is written in Node.js using Express.js as framework and ElasticSearch and MongoDb for our database. The ideal candidate - Has Technical Lead experience building a scalable service. - Is a solution-orientated executor. - Is structured and self driven - leading yourself as well as your team to come. - Takes pride in writing tight code and solid solutions. - Is confident in English. - Is positive, professional, ambitious and have fun.
