UX & Interaction Designer

Samhæng is seeking an innovative, problem solving UX & Interaction Designer. You will be operating in a start-up environment, but will be collaborating with a market leader in information management on a global project scheduled to be ongoing at least 1 year out in the future, as well as working with tech start ups. Responsibilities: As a UX & Interaction Designer you will be responsible for designing thought-through experiences for our clients. We value quality over quantity and are aware that good design takes research, preparation, knowledge and time. We work closely in sprints with users, product owners, developers and other stakeholders to bring projects to life. We are seeking someone with the following mix of knowledge and skills; information architecture, wireframing, visual design, interaction design and prototyping (both on paper and digitally). The ideal candidate can: - Turn complex problems into simple and engaging user experiences - Create wireframes, workflows, storyboards and user journeys seamlessly - Communicate and recommend design choices, advocating for the end user - Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand objectives and constraints - Do research and translate these findings into insights and design improvements Qualifications: - 2-5 years experience in the field of interaction design or user experience - Portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions - Ability to translate requirements into effective solutions - Open to constructive critique and the willingness to learn from peers - A great understading of usability and common interaction design patterns - Willingness to experiment with innovative design patterns - Motivated, collaborative and self-driven - Fluent in Adobe CC (especially illustrator and photoshop) It's a plus if you: - Are familiar with technologies such as CSS, HTML5, etc. Place of work: The office is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Professional proficiency in English is required—it doesn't matter if you speak Danish or not.
