Production Coordinator

Sisters Academy - Job vacancy Production Coordinator We have an open position as a production coordinator for our upcoming manifestation Sisters Academy #6 - The Boarding School at Den Frie Udstillingsbygning in Copenhagen. The piece is a durational performance-installation where we will transform Den Frie into a sensuous boarding school for four weeks. The project is a collaboration between the performance group Sisters Hope and Den Frie Udstillingsbygning. As a production coordinator you will be the central part of the production team and thus play a key role in the execution of the large-scale project. You will be in a close dialogue with the artistic leadership of Sisters Hope about all tasks and be responsible for communicating all relevant information related to these tasks to the rest of the production team, Den Frie and other relevant parties. Furthermore you will be responsible for the overall production planning, purchasing, coordination and execution of the technical set-up and set-design. The intense part of the project falls in three parts: • The build-up phase which takes place from the 17.8.17-18.9.17 (from 9-18 at Den Frie Mon-Sat). • The actual manifestation from 19.9.17-18.10.17. • The pack-down phase from the 19.10.-22.10.17 (from 9-18 at Den Frie). Your involvement will start as soon as possible and last until the project has been successfully executed. Your tasks will entail: • Production planning, communication, coordination, purchasing and execution of technical set-up including light-, sound- and set-design. • Production planning, communication, coordination, purchasing and execution of set-design. We are hoping to meet a person with good experience of theatre and performance coordination. You should be interested in translating artistic ideas and design into the realistic confines of budget, space and time.
