Accessories Design Internship

ACCESSORIES DESIGN INTERNSHIP - Women's Luxury Leather Goods Immediate hiring Aesther Ekme is a Luxury Women’s Accessories and Leather Goods Brand, with a design studio based in Copenhagen, and operations running globally. The brand has been experiencing rapid growth and it is now being stocked in major international retailers around the world. We are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial, independent spirit and with previous experience in the accessories and leather goods area. You will be working closely with the Creative Director throughout the whole process of designing the new collection, from research to reviewing final prototypes. Responsabilities: - Conduct design research, produce sketches and prototypes - Conduct material tests applied on prototypes approved by Creative Director - Maintain library of image references, color swatches, materials, trims and construction details - Develop new material experiments such as digital patterns, leather manipulation - Assist in creating line plan for each collection - Develop and review Technical Drawings and Specifications Package together with Creative Director to be sent to the factory. Personal requirements: • Design assistance/ internship in Leather Accessories • Understanding of Luxury Leather Accessories product and market • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills • InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCad, and Office Package • Required languages: English.
