What we do At Ocean.io, we’re developing a big data index covering all digitally registered companies worldwide. The technology we’re developing is market disruptive and will enable business professionals to access trustworthy real-time information on companies and the people associated with the companies anywhere in the world. Apart from up-to date company information, data will include aggregated feeds from social media and news feeds. We’re an innovative and well-funded company. Who you are You’re a digital designer with a few years of experience - we don’t care from where. You’ve worked with app design and development, brand identity, and other aspects of digital design. You obviously have a flair for creating great user experiences and crafting awesome user interfaces. It’s an advantage if you can code and have an understanding of front- and backend development as you’ll be collaborating with our development team in Kyiv. You’ll also be working close with communication, cooperating on everything from presentations to social media content. You’re independent and a doer, and you know how to execute and turn ideas into products. You’ll be managing our junior digital designer’s daily work so if you have managerial experience, that’s an advantage too. What you’ll do: Design app prototypes Wireframing and UX design Create mockups and support the frontend team Develop our brand identity Design user interfaces and interactions Create animations (in After Effects) Pick your own tools (we do expect that you are very familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud) However - and most importantly - you fit into our culture. We’re growing fast and as such, things change rapidly around here. You’re structured and strive for perfection but you thrive in an ever-changing environment with multiple tasks. We’re a young company so you’ll be able to affect and develop both your own position and our product portfolio.
