Product Designer (UI / UX)

Maguru is the Marketing and Communication Platform for Service Companies. We enable our customers to measure the exact return on their marketing investment and raise the bar for the customer experience they are able to deliver in order to facilitate repeat and referral business - thereby delivering unprecedented transparency and return on investment. Founded in 2014 with venture capital from Founders A/S, we are a team of 12, based in central Copenhagen. Maguru is a double sided tool, one which helps local businesses do world class marketing, and secondly a CRM for them to communicate better with their customers. REQUIREMENTS: The team is now on the lookout for a UI / UX Designer to help take Maguru into the next phase of growth by leading our design efforts on our mobile first CRM tool, and consolidating the past design work both visually and on a more conceptual level. You are comfortable working both in the abstract early days of a new product as well as finetuning and tweaking products until it reaches product/market fit. As a Designer at Maguru you will work with a passionate team of 6 in the Product/Tech team. You ideally have a passion for building products, balancing the need for speed with the goal of crafting products our customers love. At Maguru, we have a strong idea about what lies ahead for our product in its next phase and we are looking for a person who can work with this vision and transform it into digital products that are both beautiful and easy to use. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Taking complex real world situations and, merged with a product vision, translate it into digital products - Define and create prototypes to quickly explore uncertainties in new products - Lead the design efforts in a small team to create MVP’s to test in the market - Conduct user research and in general talk to current and future customers WHO YOU ARE: - Creative confidence in going from an abstract vision to a tangible product - A track record of creating delightful digital products - Ability to bring your designs to life (css, html) - Experience with managing creative processes and stakeholders - Ability to communicate your design ideas at many levels of fidelity (from vision to pixel-perfect mockup) - Strong sense of aesthetics - Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team - Flexible: You will have to organise e.g. user testing besides actually executing tests BONUS: - Experience with user research and testing - Startup experience and an agile approach to building products BENEFITS: - Cool new office next to the meatpacking district - Flexible work hours - Employee stock option agreement
