Research & Information Intern at Refugee Status Determination Section

The internship will be placed with UNHCR’s Refugee Status Determination Section (RSD), within the Division of International Protection (DIP). Refugee Status Determination (RSD) is the legal or administrative process by which governments or UNHCR determine whether a person seeking international protection is considered a refugee. This person will contribute to the management, maintenance and strategic expansion of global platforms that help people make research and decisions on refugee status. These include Refworld (www.refworld.org), one of UNHCR's most accessed sites, as well as communities of practices for researchers and decision-makers.
