Graphic Design Internship

In a nutshell: Are you a graphic design student looking for gaining experience in one of the most innovative places in Copenhagen? We are offering an internship in graphic design in the Incubator unit of the LEO Innovation Lab. The focus will be to support the different product teams with creating engaging designs and visuals. You’ll join a fun, small and agile team and have much room to leave your footprint. The challenge: - A 3 month internship at the place where digital innovation in med happens - You’ll create designs and visual material for web and marketing activities, s.a. social media, paid advertising, mailings, infographics, etc. - You will be the driving force of all visual design stages from the concept over to the final hand-off, supported by our Design guru - Present designs and key deliverables to your team members and convince them of the idea behind it - Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards for the different product teams - Support products to develop their visual language - Be a fun, social, and caring colleague (that’s quite important) The ideal candidate: - Is either a student or has recently graduated from studies in Design or a similar field - Is competent in using industry standard creative tools, s.a. Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, or similar, and has a good understanding of typography and layout - Is passionate about Design and Graphic practices - Has an ability to prioritise time-sensitive assignments and is attentive to details - Is eager to learn by doing, has an open mind, and a “can do” attitude - Is constructively critical, willing to be challenged and challenge others - Is self-directed and can take the lead on any activity - Is fluent in English - Knowledge of HTML and CSS is not mandatory, but considered a plus - Previous relevant experience is considered a plus The offer: - A steep learning curve - Valuable insights into digital innovation - The opportunity to combine your design knowledge with real-life business experience - The chance to build a great network through experienced, well-connected people - An international, interdisciplinary, young, and agile environment in the heart of Copenhagen - Excellent lunch, table tennis, free coffee/snacks/sodas, too often also cake
