Industrial Design Intern

Nomess Copenhagen is looking for a intern to join our international team in Copenhagen. Nomess designs smart home furnishing solutions with a twist, for a creative and design orientated audience. Nomess creates smaller home organisation products as well as furniture. We are a global brand with customers all over the world. Nomess is now looking for an intern with technical design skills. You will work in close connection with our product developer to develop new products, research new packaging solutions as well as come up with new clever solutions for our existing range. We are looking for someone who is a problem solver with a lot of technical and/or engineering skills. You should also have a design background with interest in home furnishing. This is a design position, with focus on the technical aspects of product design. You should be nearing the end of your studies or just have finished a degree in industrial design/design engineering or similar. As a person you are structured, curious and eager to find solutions. You are self driven but can also work well with given direction. Key skills required: - Design knowledge - In depth 3D CAD skills (rhinoceros) - Basic Adobe illustrator, photoshop and inDesign skills - Technical capabilities - Packaging experience or an interest in this area - Material knowledge - Knowledge of different manufacturing techniques - Towards the end or just finishing a degree in industrial design/design engineering - Minimum excellent English language skills. Danish is a plus. The position is part or full time, minimum 3 days per week (7.5h per day). Our office is located in Nordhavn Copenhagen and easily accessible by public transport.
