New Business Developer

Make Ready Studio is a independent, award-winning graphic design practice making books, catalogues, campaigns and identities for a broad range of cultural and commercial clients. Founded in 2011, the studio combines strategic thinking and creative flair to deliver original, engaging design work for start-ups as well as large institutions. The studio is searching for an experienced, well-connected New Business Developer to cultivate new business leads and secure projects to assist the studio in gaining a foothold in the Scandinavian marketplace, specifically within but not exclusive to the publishing, arts/culture, event, engineering/manufacturing and design sectors. Your profile The successful applicant will be a native Scandinavian speaker, fluent in English and highly self-motivated. You will have a solid business network and ideally come from a client-facing role in the advertising/design industry. You will be able to demonstrate and articulate a clear understanding of branding and graphic design, and the benefits it brings to businesses. You will be adept at researching markets, identifying opportunities and selling design and branding services. The position is for an initial period of 3-4 months, beginning Feb for 1/2–1 day per week. The successful applicant can enjoy highly flexible working hours and work either remotely or on-site at the studio in Copenhagen.
