Graphic Designer

Ørgreen Optics is one of the leading companies within high-end design eyewear known globally for its innovative approach to design and colour combinations. Designed and developed in Denmark and handcrafted in Japan, Ørgreen Optics is today present in more than 50 markets worldwide. Ørgreen is located in a century old warehouse building in the centre of Copenhagen. To support our continuous growth, we are looking for a graphic designer with a mix of print, digital and branding experience. You will be joining our highly creative in-house Copenhagen and marketing team and working under the creative direction of the Head Of Marketing. Your role will be working on brand development, website and campaign from conceptual stages. As well as strong print and branding skills, you must have a good understanding of brands, b2b and b2c communication and how you can help the brand thrive and develop in the digital space across multiple platforms. - Highly skilled in InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator - Multitasking and happy to work in fast changing environment - Happy to liaise with different departments especially product design - Creative flair - Courage to explore new ideas, lead them to a final solution and manage them all the way to production - Able to run projects independently - Page layout skills - Experience of preparing artwork for print - An understanding of print finishes and paper stocks - A strong interest in social media and new formats - Concept creation (campaigns, still life, video) - Digital design (updating website and online platforms including WordPress) - Must have high levels of attention to detail and accuracy - Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or other related field - 1-2 + year’s experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description. Less experienced individuals with outstanding skills are also welcome - Must be fluent in English (verbal/written) - Must be team player, possess a positive and happy open- minded attitude, and work respectfully with others - Knowledgeable of b2b and b2c communication an advantage
