Mobile Product Designer

In team mobile we are a dedicated and diverse team, building and maintaining all mobile apps to support our customers and colleagues in Salling Group. We innovate and work with the latest technologies to improve the customer experience. We are a growing team and so is our portfolio of apps. For that reason we are looking for a Student Assistant, who can help us in developing new mobile apps for our customers and improve on our current portfolio of apps. You will be responsible for helping out on our current portfolio of apps, improving the user-experience and visualizing new concepts, collecting input from stakeholders and users and applying this to your work. You will also have the opportunity to work on new app concepts and be responsible for the end-to-end design execution. Qualifications: • Know your way around a designer’s toolbox: Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch etc. (we work primarily with Sketch) • Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills in english. • You take ownership of your work, but realize that you alone don’t hold all the answers. Understanding that feedback from colleagues and customers are critical to designing the best possible product. • You are biased toward action. Understanding the benefit of quickly designing or prototyping a product and then iterating on that product continuously. • You are curious about technology, mobile apps and innovation. • Able to materialize broad concepts and ideas from colleagues and our users. Nice to have: • Experience with prototyping tools (Framer, Principal, Adobe After Effects etc.) • Experience with video editing (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro etc.) • Experience designing mobile apps and/or websites • Drawing skills (Squares and circles) • An understanding of iOS, Android and mobile technologies We offer: • Opportunity to grow your skills as a designer and work on a lot of different exciting projects. • Your work will reach hundreds of thousands of users. • You will work with experienced designers and UXers and will have a lot of opportunities to get feedback and learn. • Flexible working hours and possibility of working partly from home.
