About the Product team The product team consist currently of 2 people; a project manager in London and our Head of Product in Denmark (Copenhagen). This position will be to join the team in Copenhagen to work closely with our Head of Product. We’re looking for a talented UX/UI Designer that considers the intuitivity of design, design thinking, aesthetics and follows UX/ UI best practices. Our target audience are those within the gaming world: small/ indie game developers, groups of developers and studios and larger promoters of these, publishers. We need an individual that is able to get into the minds of these awesome people to create designs that both matches their outlook and expands what they think is possible through design. One of our larger projects for the coming year is rebuilding our entire interface and user experience, you will help an instrumental part in this transformation! Responsibilities A key source for UX ideas and solutions. Work closely with the Frontend and Product team during feature development. Create wireframe mockups, prototype designs and solutions for an optimal UX. Work closely within the Product team, the Customer Support team and external stakeholders to gain a deep insight into what our customers’ needs are and how this will affect design. Keep up-to-date with the latest UX and Interaction Design practices and contribute to the company’s blog on this area. Contribute to the wider success of the Product team by helping to formulate and meet the team goals. Create high-fidelity designs using Invision, Sketch and Photoshop. Be a key contributor in understanding our different users: various customers and employees. Create a design theory that works for each of them, whilst being true to GameAnalytics’ overall identity.  Skills and Experiences >> Essential Educated with a specialism in User Experience Design, Interaction Design or Product Design: ideally a degree and MA in these subjects or similar. Previous experience working within a design team: ideally you will have worked independently to deal with UX/ UI aspects. Keen problem solver: you enjoy thinking through complex product challenges and care about solving the right problems. Keep learner: eager to learn how technical aspects work in order to learn limitations or possibilities for the features you are building Sense of quality: able to deliver consistent and high quality designs. Pragmatic: comfortable discussing UX ideas within a team (with a vocal opinion), but also handling differences with compromise. Excellent planning: comfortable working under time pressure, quickly prioritising and re-prioritising and meeting deadlines. Great teamplayer: you thoroughly enjoy working with other people irrespective of whether they are internal or external stakeholders. You are able to quickly build and maintain rapport. Empathy comes naturally to you. You wish to empathise with the end user and understand what makes them tick. Proficient in UX design tools, such as invision, sketch and Photoshop. >> Desirable Experience from the Game Industry or playing games as a hobby. Experience of working within a fast-moving startup and technology environment. Previous experience as the authoritative ‘voice’ of design within a team or small organisation.
