Product Designer (People, Employment & Payroll)

We are looking for Product Designers of all experience levels who see difficult business problems as a challenge and want to forge simple, beautiful and accessible user paths through that complexity The Planday UX team collaborates across teams to lift the overall level of UX, UI and User-centric thinking across the organisation. The team is divided into smaller groups that work inside Product Area teams to tackle a specific set of user problems. The People, Employment and Payroll (PEP) Team tackles administrative problems related to people management, legal and government compliance, finance, and payroll systems as well as how these problems affect end-users (shift workers using our mobile apps). Product Designers in Planday are foundational elements of the cross-functional teams. You will work alongside Analysts, Researchers, Copywriters, Product Managers, QA and teams of dedicated developers to forge products that users truly care about. We are looking for designers of all experience levels. Requirements: * The skills to take complex and diverse user requirements and craft experiences that are simple and smart * Design systems thinking and a considered approach to Information Architecture * An open and collaborative approach to your design work Experience with UX research and prototyping * A portfolio highlighting UI/UX and visual design, with a focus on solving complex B2B problems from a user-centered design perspective * Excellent communication skills and the desire to be part of a dynamic product team * Desire to apply Universal Design and build things to be more accessible * Team players with a learning mindset, that want to work as part of a growing design team.
