Graphic Designer Are you a talented and experienced graphic designer excelling both within digital and print? Are you a creative mind, passionate about visual design and are you capable of bringing ideas into clear and aesthetic communication? About ferm LIVING ferm LIVING is a Danish design company founded in 2006 by our Creative Director Trine Andersen. From our home in Copenhagen, we work with artisans around the world, fusing our Scandinavian mindset with global skills and traditions. Our collections are defined by soft forms, rich textures and curious details that let you create composed atmospheres with a touch of the unexpected. What you’ll be doing You will be a key player within the marketing team, juggling different tasks within the field of graphic design, art direction and layout. You will continuously develop and strengthen our graphic and visual profile by creating inspiring content, concepts and design in close collaboration with the Art Director. Your primary tasks will be: • Brainstorm and concept development for campaigns and product launches • Organize and responsible for pack shots • Printed and digital catalogues • Content for all SoMe channels, newsletters as well as fermliving.com (B2B and B2C site) • Packaging, POS, product manuals, leaflets and other print material • Campaigns, including sales material & content for B2B partners (online retailers and key accounts) What we’re looking for You are a strong graphic designer with a profound understanding of your craft for both print and digital media and you take pride in completing your tasks on time and always in high aesthetic quality with great attention to detail. You understand from experience that being an excellent graphic designer also requires structure, planning and focus, and you have a great eye for layout and genuine interest in digital trends. You can independently handle tasks all the way from the brief to the delivery of finished files - even with short deadlines, and you are able to catch mistakes along the way. You are both structured and creative at the same time and can translate abstract ideas into concrete graphic suggestions. You are open, possess great interpersonal skills, have a positive mindset, and enjoy working in a team contributing with good and supportive energy. • Super user within InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator • Graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - design, Design School Kolding, DMJX or other recognized design schools • Minimum 5 years’ work experience within the interior or design industry, alternatively an agency • Structured, organized and with great attention to detail • Experience with Easy Catalogue is an advantage Since you will be part of an international company with a global network, it is important that you are fluent in English. You might also have A passion for interior design, furniture, art, lifestyle, culture and a natural sense of aesthetics. Video and photo editing experience is also a plus.
